Our Community Projects

Here are the ongoing and the already completed community "projects".  They are handled by each of our sub-groups:  Planting, Fundraising, Playpark Development etc.

2025 Plans & Ideas

The work programme for 2025 is still under review although should include:

  • Playpark repair and renewal
  • Bulb and flower planting
  • Focus on reducing anti social behaviour by youths
  • Summer party & open day
  • etc.

2023 & 2024 Activities

  • Memorial Garden (High Street)… Work has been carried out cutting back bushes and shrubs… further works to be carried out are works on the seating area and erecting chain link fences which were broken
  • Cook Street Play Park… it is planned to use some of the small grant fund to update the park for kids in the area
  • Rectory Lane Park area… It is planned to install a picnic table and bench as a memorial
  • Waterfront and Coastal Path… We are in consultation with Fife coastal and countryside trust about improving the coastal walkway….this may be ongoing due to the problems associated with the recent storm damage
  • Rocket Park… Tree lights have been reconnected following discussions with Fife Council
  • St Serfs Tower… Reviewed healh and safety risks of re-opening the tower... cleared away pigeon lime
  • Steps to Walkway at The Walk… it is planned to upgrade the steps and wall
    Rear of High Street… Bushes and shrubs cut back as they had not been attended to for some time
  • Foot of Rectory Lane… coping stones on top of wall have been replaced
  • Dysart Road… overhanging trees and bushes have been cut back along footway
  • Shore Road… Overgrown bushes have been cut back along footway
